Review: Marc Jacobs Style Eye-Con No.7 Plush Eyeshadow in The Lover

Hello everyone! Since all my Sephora VIB sale hauls are done, it's time to start reviewing some products. I'm going to be reviewing the Marc Jacobs Eyeshadow palette in The Lover today. I'm excited to review this as it's my first ever Marc Jacobs product I've tried!

Marc Jacobs has these 7 shade palettes, and also 3 shade trios. I chose the big gun because, why not? I got 15% off, so I treated myself. You get the palette in this simple, but nice cardboard box. What's inside is pretty cool though...

Once you open the box, you have the palette inside this sleek, black fabric case with a snap closure. I felt so darn fancy opening this little guy up!

I absolutely love the slim, compact design of this palette. It seems like it would be great for travel, as it's small enough but has great everyday shades. The palette has a little button you push to open it up, and it snaps closed very tightly, which I can definitely appreciate. It also has a nice little mirror inside that covers the whole lid of the palette.

These are the amazing colors! Seriously, this palette is right up my alley. The colors are described from left to right as, a matte baby pink, sandy pink shimmer, light caramel sheen, matte apricot-rose, copper rose shimmer, seashell pink sheen, and matte cappuccino. You can see the theme here basically being a rosy pink palette. I absolutely adore these colors and the quality isn't terrible either.

I feel like the swatches came out true to the color in the pan and they also perform well on the eye. I always use a primer because I do have oily eyelids, and these shadows last through the whole work day for me. These 7 color palettes cost $59 and for the amount of pigmentation the shades have, I do feel that's quite expensive. I like the quality of the shadows, but they're not super pigmented like Urban Decay is, and I'm alright with that. The colors here are just so pretty and soft, which makes it a great everyday palette in my opinion. I am tempted to try out another Marc Jacobs palette that has a bit more color to it, but that's gonna have to wait.

Overall, I am impressed but I kinda wish the price was a tad bit lower. Oh well, I guess it's the price you pay considering the name of the brand.

Have you tried any of Marc Jacobs' palettes before?

Sephora VIB Sale Haul - Part 2

Hi everyone! I thought I was finished buying everything I wanted during the Sephora VIB sale, but on the very last day, I kinda wanted a few more things! Lets see what I picked up at the last minute.

Too Faced had come out with an all matte neutral eyeshadow palette, and also this bright one called Sugar Pop. I don't need another neutral palette, and I was looking at this since it came out. It does have some colors I don't typically use, but I figured I'd go outside my comfort zone and give it a try. I love Too Faced as a brand and have quite a few of their palettes. I'm rarely disappointed, so I do have high hopes!

I saw this Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Skintuitive Blush in the shade called Energy and was intrigued. This is a VIB Rouge exclusive shade, so I'm sorry to my friends who can't buy this! It's a really light pink shade that is said to react to your skin's PH level and create your perfect shade of pink. I've tried lip glosses that have a similar concept and I find it pretty interesting, so we will see if this works or not. I will do a review on this sometime in the coming weeks!

I had gotten a Modster Manuka Honey Eyeshadow from Ardency Inn and I was super impressed with it, so I decided to pick up another color called Heaven. It's a beautiful metallic champagne with silver and bronze undertones. The other color I have is called Hell, so I may do a review on both once I try this one out for a bit.

The last product I got is the Belif Oil Control Fresh Moisturizer. This is a new brand Sephora is carrying and the line looks pretty nice. I like the simple packaging it has and it seems like a fair price for what you're getting. I'm always into trying out new skincare since my skin isn't too fussy when I introduce new products into my routine.

Did you do any last minute VIB sale shopping?

Mother's Day Gift Ideas with Anjolee

*Disclosure* This post is kindly sponsored by Anjolee. Any opinions are mine and 100% honest, and not influenced by the brand. All pictures shown are from the Anjolee website

Hello everyone! I'm sure you all know that Mother's Day is coming up in a couple of weeks, on May 10th. Finding a gift for mom can get a little tricky, but with Anjolee, you can find some amazing jewelry gifts that will make her smile!

If your mom loves earrings, these Circled Gemstone Diamond Stud Earrings are amazing. I really love these bcause you can pick any gemstone you want, to go along with her birthday or whatever gemstone she really likes.
This necklace is absolutely beautiful! It's the Life is Great Journey Necklace. I myself would love something like this because I always say my love for my mom, mother-in-law, and my husband is infinite, and this reminds me of an infinity symbol. A necklace this beautiful would surely make your mom very happy!

For the bracelet loving mom out there, the Simply Stylish Gemstone Bracelet is a great option. I love it because it's simple, yet still beautiful and you can again pick whatever gemstone you like.

Anjolee is an awesome place to find jewelry, and not just for Mother's Day! They offer tons of options like tennis necklaces, and even have wedding and anniversary bands. They have a great 30-day return policy and if you need something sized differently, they can take care of that as well. Another great feature is, they're the only jewelry website that can make everything on their site customizable according to preference of metal type, diamond size, diamond/gemstone quality, and length/size. I find that to be incredible. If you are ordering something for Mother's Day, they require 3 business days for manufacturing, so definitely keep that in mind.

Are you going to be getting anything special for your mom?

Review: Valentia Organic Rosehip Oil

*Disclosure* I received this product complimentary courtesy of Tomoson. All opinions are 100% honest and my own, like always!

Hey guys! Today I'm going to be reviewing Valentia's Organic Rosehip Oil. I think I've said before, but I've been on an oil kick lately with my skin. Plus, it's fun trying out new things!

Here is what the product helps with, taken from Amazon:

-REDUCES FINE LINES & WRINKLES - powerful Vitamin C and Lycopene antioxidants promote healthy cell development, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and protecting the skin from free radicals which lead to premature aging.
-REDUCES SCARS & BURNS - the presence of high levels of essential fatty acids, which cannot be naturally reproduced by our bodies, work to heal and speed up cell regeneration to reduce the appearance of scars and burns. Naturally occurring vitamin A in Rosehip Oil helps heal and improve scar tissue left behind by acne, dermatitis and psoriasis scarring.
-REHYDRATES SKIN - essential fatty acids work to lock in moisture, hydrate the skin and keep it soft and supple. Get ready to improve your complexion and face the elements.
-EVENS SKIN TONE - repair skin discoloration and damage caused by environmental stresses such as UV damage from overexposure to the sun. Hyper-pigmentation and age spots are dramatically reduced with continued use.
-STRENGTHENS NAILS & HAIR - replenish dry, brittle and damaged hair with density, instant shine and smoothness. Nourish your nails and cuticles to prevent hangnails and breakage.

Ok, so this oil is actually pretty great with my skin. It leaves it feeling soft and hydrated, and I wake up with a glow from within look to my face. I only use it at night as it does leave me pretty shiny. I definitely can't use it in my hair, as it makes my hair feel really greasy, even with the tiniest amount. The only thing I really have an issue with it the scent. I've never used Rosehip Oil before, but the oil in my bottle smells so strange, like spoiled milk or something. I thought maybe it would have a rose scent, but boy was I wrong. I also could've been sent a bad batch, I don't know. I haven't used this oil often because of the scent, but I do like what it does for my skin when I do. At $13.99 for a bottle on Amazon, it's a great price, but buy at your own risk.

Have you used Rosehip Oil before?

Review: Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer

Hey everyone! Today I'm going to be reviewing the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer that I had gotten during the Sephora VIB sale. I did some major damage with that sale and I do plan on reviewing alot of what I bought. Let's get into it!

Description of product taken from Sephora's website:

This concealer from Urban Decay lets you cover imperfections without looking covered up. It’s easily blendable and buildable, giving you even coverage with a luminous, demi-matte finish. Ultra-lightweight, this high-tech liquid formula never settles into fine lines, and it melds on for a no makeup look while full coverage in an instant.

This concealer is enriched with Matrixyl 3000, which contains peptides to support the skin’s youthful appearance and elasticity, and Japanese green tea revitalizes and helps reduce the look of fine lines. It’s infused with Litchiderm™—derived from lychee fruit—which protects against dehydration, while sodium hyaluronate helps the skin attract and retain moisture, resulting in a brighter-looking complexion.

This stuff sounds like a miracle, right? Well, I don't think it is. First off, the shade range is pretty bad. There are only 2 warm and 6 neutral shades. I picked up the lightest shade called Fair Neutral, which is still a little yellow for me. I need something more cool as it's better for my pale skin. The plus side is that it is fairly brightening and it does cover up my dark circles pretty well, so the coverage is good. However, even after applying it with my Beauty Blender and setting it right away with powder, it creases within 10 minutes and it applies patchy. I don't know why, because I always moisturize well, I prime beforehand, and I use my Beauty Blender. I've used this everyday since I got it, and every single time it's been patchy and has creased almost instantly. I have to check myself in the mirror constantly before I leave for work to fix it and as the day goes on, it makes my under eyes look dry and dehydrated. I also have to mention, this stuff smells exactly like nail polish remover. I don't know why, but it's so overpowering and I find that really bizarre.

You would think that a brand like Urban Decay would bring something out that's amazing because I had yet to try something of theirs I just straight up didn't like. This also is a $28 concealer, and that's incredibly expensive for what I think it is. Even with the extra 15% off, I say save your money and get something else. I love Urban Decay as a brand. Their eyeshadows are my favorite, their eyeliners are amazing and their setting sprays are great as well. I really think they missed the mark with this concealer. I will find a use for it because I don't like returning makeup, but I will never, ever repurchase.

Have you used this concealer before? If so, what do you think of it?

Spring 2015 Walmart Beauty Box

Hey guys! Today I'm going to be sharing the Walmart beauty box for Spring 2015. I have a rant on this one, as I did with the Winter box I received, but I'll save that until the end. Here is everything I got.

I made the products look all nice in the box for this picture. I probably shouldn't have because I'm pretty disappointed.

-Lady Gaga Fame Perfume: Don't like perfume, this is getting passed on to a co-worker

-Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes: I'll definitely use these at some point to remove swatches or makeup, but there are only 7 wipes. Probably more good for travel, but I don't have plans to go anywhere anytime soon

-Schwarzkopf Essence Ultime Omega Repair & Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner: I've never heard of these before and again, these can be good for travel. They're so small and are basically like free samples they send out

-Dove GoFresh Body Wash in the scent mandarin & tiare flower: This smells nice, but again, this is like a free sample

These are some foil packet samples and coupons for L'Oreal, Schwarzkopf, Nivea and Maybelline. I'm curious to try the Nivea In-Shower Body Lotion, but I am nervous it will make my shower all slippery.

I was thoroughly unimpressed with this box. Granted, it's only $5 and you get one per season, but I've had so many issues, that I just cancelled. Now for my rant. I was charged twice for this box and had to call customer service, which is a pain normally because either they never answer, or they're just rude and don't know what they're doing. I was told I'd receive a phone call or email back about being double charged, and I waited and waited for weeks until one day I noticed my credit card was refunded. I waited for probably close to 3 weeks to notice the refund and was pretty pissed that no one could send me a quick email letting me know I'd get a refund. Also, when answering the phone, I don't want to hear, "customer service, how can I help you?" in a nasty tone from a total douche bag guy who probably has no interest in a beauty box or helping people with legitimate problems. There was no professionalism at all with him and I was really upset. I work in retail where customer service has to be our top priority. While there may be some customers who I don't think deserve good customer service, I still have to help them, with a smile, and be professional. The dude I talked to was just rude and not very helpful. I am definitely glad I got my money back from being double charged, and once I received this box in the mail, I made sure to cancel right away. I probably shouldn't be so upset over 5 bucks, but that's my hard earned 5 bucks. I say skip this crappy box, spend $5 more and subscribe to Ipsy. Way better products, full size products at times, and awesome customer service. I have never had an issue that wasn't resolved immediately with them. *End rant*

Are you subscribed to the Walmart Beauty Box? If so, have you had similar issues to mine?

Ulta & Sephora VIB A Love Note Haul!

Hey everyone! As you all may know, Sephora is having their A Love Note sale! VIB Rouge's and VIB's can get 15% off their purchase through the 21st of April, and Beauty Insiders can get 10% off from April 17th through the 20th. I also purchased a few things from Ulta when they sent out 20% coupons to Platinum members, so I figured I'd share what I got there as well!

I'll start off with the few things I got at Ulta. I just had to pick up some Batiste Dry Shampoo in the Tropical scent, because that's my all-time favorite. I had never seen it at my Ulta store before, so I was pretty excited to be able to pick up another one.

I also wanted to try out the new-ish NYX Intense Butter Glosses, and I decided on the color Funnel Delight. It's this beautiful bright fuchsia color, and I think it'll be perfect for Spring and Summer.

When L'Oreal came out with their La Palette Nude palettes, my eyes went straight towards the second one. The Nude 1 palette is more warm, which is still really pretty, but I gravitated more towards this one, and I can't wait to play with it.

Now for the products from Sephora! I don't have an actual Sephora store close to me, so I had to go to my Sephora that's inside JCPenny. Soap & Glory are no longer going to be sold in Sephora, so all the products they had were discounted. I'm pretty sure I had never tried the Hand Food Hand Cream before, and with the discount it was under $4. The scent seems a bit strong to me, so I hope I like it!

Bite Beauty is a brand that I'm really intrigued by, but I do find their products to be expensive. I have purchased a few things of theirs, and have liked what I tried. They came out with Butter Cream Lipsticks and I picked up the shade Rosewood, which was also the last one they had! It's such a beautiful mauve-y berry color and I'm excited to try it. I do wish they had a better color selection though, because most didn't seem very wearable for my fair skin.

The last thing I picked up in-store is the Sephora Favorites Summer Obsessions kit. I had originally saw this posted on a blog and knew I had to have it. It comes with a Beauty Blender Pro (black one), a deluxe size of Benefit's Watt's Up, a full size Nars Lip Gloss in Turkish Delight, a deluxe sample of Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Fearless, A deluxe size Tarte Light's, Camera, Splashes waterproof mascara, A deluxe size Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer, and a 1 fluid ounce bottle of Urban Decay's All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray. For $39, minus the 15% discount, you honestly can't beat the price. The Nars lipgloss by itself retails for $26 and a Beauty Blender is $20. If there is only one thing you get, it's this kit, which is a Sephora inside JCPenny exclusive.

This is everything I bought online, and yes, I know I have problems. Anyway, I had always wanted to try out the Marc Jacobs Style Eye-Con No. 7 palettes, and this one in particular called 220 The Lover, showed up on the site after I had made my wishlist and it also is saying it's limited edition. The color scheme is just so beautiful together and I think they would look beautiful for Spring.

A palette that was on my wishlist was the Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Contour Palette. I'm so happy I got this because the colors are stunning, and I'm also happy I skipped out on her contour palette and waited for this. I plan on doing a review of this, hopefully soon!

I also have been wanting to try Kat Von D's Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks for a long time. I'm not really one for matte lipsticks, let alone a liquid version, so I think that's why I waited so long. I ended up getting the colors Berlin (left) and Bachelorette (right) and I don't know what took me so long! I've already tried them and I must say, these are super pigmented and I find them drying, but you do have to put them on dry lips with no lip balm or anything or else it will be super sticky and come off on everything. I want to do a review on these as well because I really am super impressed when I thought I wouldn't be.

You all know I love me some Urban Decay and I decided to pick up one of their Moondust Eyeshadows in the color Ether, which is a beautiful light purple with pink sparkle. I have another one of these and I think they're really pretty. I'm happy to have another one in my collection.

I was also really curious about the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer. I got the lightest color called Fair Neutral, and I feel on the fence about this. I haven't tried it yet, but it smells odd, like paint thinner or something. I did want to use this under my eyes, but now I'm kinda afraid to for that reason.

The last product I picked up is the Kari Gran Naked Lip Whip in the scent Peppermint. This is on the new products page and if you know me personally, you know how much I love my lip balms. This was $15, which is kinda pricey for a lip balm, but it smells like York Peppermint Patties and it's got nice packaging, so I think it's worth it. It seems like a nice, thick balm too so that will definitely help my dry lips out.

That's everything I got! If you want reviews of anything, please let me know! I'd be more than happy to give my opinion once I test things out.

Is there anything you're picking up/have picked up during this sale?

Review: Exuviance Triple Microdermabrasion Face Polish

*Disclosure* This product was provided complimentary thanks to Exuviance and Brandbacker. All opinions are 100% honest and my own, like always!

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to be reviewing a microdermabrasion face polish from the brand Exuviance. I had heard of the brand before, but had never tried any of their products. I was so excited to be able to try this out because I'm wanting to try different products to help with exfoliating my skin.

Here is a bit of info on the product taken from the Neostrata website:

Our latest antiaging breakthrough masters a triple action approach to skin renewal in a single, yet powerful treatment with a unique blend of physical, chemical and enzyme rejuvenators. With just one application, this intensive exfoliating treatment delivers instant skin resurfacing.

Contains pure professional grade crystals used by dermatologists to smooth skin. Feel this potent exfoliator working as Papaya Enzyme and Glycolic Acid help dissolve impurities that contribute to congested pores, and loosen dead skin cells and dull and dry patches, polishing skin to a gorgeous silky softness and glow. Cell renewal is stimulated, encouraging skin to renew itself. With consistent exfoliation, once or twice a week, skin will be clearer, brighter with reduced appearance of pores and dark spots. Regular use helps increase the performance of your cosmetic treatment products. For best results, complete your facial with an Exuviance concentrated serum or antiaging moisturizer.

I had tried chemical exfoliators in the past, but always had lots of irritation on my skin after using them. I should also mention that Glycolic Acid never used to agree with my skin either. I remember using a face mask that had glycolic acid in it when I was a teenager and broke out so bad from it, I swore off it. Now that I'm 26, I want to be more mindful about anti-aging, and I know Glycolic Acid along with the Papaya Enzymes are really good for anti-aging and smoothing the skin. The little crystals in this scrub are so fine, you can barely feel them, but they get the job done. The directions say to apply a thin layer to your clean, wet face and lightly massage into the skin for 30 seconds. After that, you leave it on for up to 2 minutes, but if you have really sensitive skin, 1 minute. The first time I used this, I left it on for 1 minute and boy is this stuff potent! Within about 20 seconds, my face started feeling warm and tingly, and once the minute was up, it felt very warm. It rinsed off nicely, and my face felt really smooth and soft, but it was a bit red. The second time I used this, I braved 2 minutes and had the same reaction. It didn't feel overly uncomfortable, but it's something to get used to, in my opinion. The mornings after using this, it looks like I have new skin. It's honestly pretty amazing. It's like my complexion is all evened out and my skin looks poreless (from a distance of course). If you have sensitive skin like I do, I recommend only using this once a week. If you're not sensitive, you can use this twice a week.

This product costs a whopping $72, and you can find it online here at the Neostrata website, or at Ulta here. Do I think it's worth the $72 price tag? Maybe, it depends on how often you use it. I might only use it a couple times a month, and I do like how it makes my skin look. I don't think I would personally go out and buy this myself (unless I was rich).

Would you try this product?

April 2015 Ipsy Bag

Hey everyone! I'm really excited that my Ipsy bag came in the mail yesterday, and I hadn't even gotten a tracking code. Weird, but that's happened before! This month's theme is called Beautifully Bohemian, and I'm excited for this one.

I love the style of the bag this month! It reminds me of a thin weaved basket, which probably sounds strange. I love the strips of color added and I can definitely see myself using this bag in everyday life. Onto the products!

First up, we have the MicaBeauty Eye Primer. I'm always on the hunt for a good eyeshadow primer, and this one says it's waterproof so hopefully it's good for Summertime use.

Next, I got a theBalm Nude Dude Eyeshadow Single in the shade Flirty, which is described as a shimmering golden violet color. I'm a fan of the brand, but it's not my favorite. I'm an eyeshadow junkie though, so I will have use for this I'm sure.

I'm actually really excited for this next product. It's a blush by the brand Hikari in the shade Tango. It's a beautiful peachy pink shade and I'm pretty sure this is a full size product. In that case, this by itself costs $15, which is pretty darn cool!

I've heard of Klorane products before but never tried them. When I saw I was going to be receiving their Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk, I was really excited! I love dry shampoos since I don't wash my hair everyday. I'm hoping I can get decent use out of this can because it doesn't feel like it's filled very much.

The last product I received is a JulieG Nail Color in the shade Damsel. I don't really like getting nail polish in subscription bags, but this color is right up my alley. Since Spring is finally here, I've been in the mood to do something with my nails, and this bright pink color seems perfect.

Overall, I'm really happy with my bag this month. I feel like I got a nice range of products and they will all get used at some point.

If you want your own Ipsy bag, you can sign up here! It only costs $10 a month, plus shipping for some, and you get 4-5 deluxe sized sample products with an occasional full sized one, like the blush above!

If you already receive Ipsy bags, what did you get this month?

Review: Pura D'or Premium Organic Hair Loss Prevention Shampoo & Argan Oil Conditioner

*Disclosure* I received these products complimentary for review purposes thanks to Pura D'or and BrandBacker. All opinions are 100% honest and my own, like always

Hello everyone! I had an awesome chance to try out a shampoo and conditioner from the brand Pura D'or. I had heard about this brand before and saw reviews of different products, so I was pretty darn excited to try some myself. I'll be reviewing their Hair Loss Prevention Shampoo and Argan Oil Conditioner in the Lavender Vanilla scent.

Here is a description of the shampoo taken from the Pura D'or website:

Pura d'or Premium Organic Anti-Hair Loss Argan Oil Based Shampoo is free from harsh chemicals that are the current and leading cause of many chronic hair conditions. Our shampoo is free of sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), parabens, DEA, gluten, artificial colors, artificial fragrances and harsh preservatives. This gentle formula is fortified with an organic blend of argan oil, B vitamin complex, biotin, nettles extract, saw palmetto, He Shou Wu (Fo-ti) and other clinically proven natural ingredients to aid against hair loss.
Ingredients are specially selected for increased bioavailability and maximum absorption. Our Shampoo starts by nourishing hair follicles with essential nutrients to reverse any damage and begin the healing process. Biotin strengthens hair strands, niacin increases circulation and our exclusive DHT Blocker Blend promotes healthy hair growth. Continued use will prevent further hair loss. Safe for daily use, for all hair types both men & women.

Here is a description of the conditioner:

Pura d'or Premium Organic Argan Oil Based Conditioner is made from 99% vegetable base ingredients. Our conditioner is free from sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), DEA, parabens, gluten, artificial colors, artificial fragrances and harsh preservatives. Coconut and vegetable proteins help hydrate, heal and repair damaged hair from root to end without adding weight or buildup.

This gentle formula is infused with organic argan oil to add shine, body and moisturizers to all types of hair. Pura d'or conditioner's unique proprietary ingredients promote control, manageability and superior smoothness. All the benefits of a premium conditioner without the chemicals. As well as being pH balanced and fortified with Multi-Vitamins. Safe for daily use, for all hair types.

After using this duo for the past few weeks, about every other day, I feel so-so about the results. I love how the shampoo smells, but it takes a bit of it to work up a nice lather. I also haven't noticed much in the prevention or slowing down of hair loss. The directions say to leave this on your hair for 2 minutes after working into a lather, which I can't really do because the water from my shower gets freezing cold within about 10 minutes, so I gotta get done fast. It does rinse out very nicely but you definitely have to follow up with conditioner. The Argan Oil conditioner is flipping amazing! This has to be one of my favorite conditioners I've tried in a long time. I absolutely love how lavender and vanilla smell together, and it makes me feel very relaxed. This is the product I can leave on my hair for a couple minutes while I wash my body. After it's rinsed out, my hair feels so soft and manageable. I can get a comb through without getting little knots in my hair.

I probably have to use the shampoo for the full 2 minutes to see better results, but like I said above, the water in my shower gets so cold so fast, and I like my hot showers! It's not a terrible shampoo though, and I absolutely adore the conditioner.

You can find these products on their website here, or on Amazon. Both products are currently on sale for $24.99 on their website.

Have you tried Pura D'or products before?

Sephora VIB Sale Wishlist

Hey everyone! If you're a VIB Rouge at Sephora, today is the start of the 15% off sale! In a short while, it should be available to VIBs and  then Beauty Insiders (who will receive 10% off). If you're a beauty junky like me, you have a long list of things to buy. I have some items in my shopping cart that I'm making some final decisions on, and I may take a trip to a store later in the week. Here are a few things I have my eye on!

Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Contour Palette. When I heard Kat Von D was coming out with an eyeshadow palette that's like her face contour palette, I was thrilled! I didn't get her contour palette, only because I'm not the biggest fan of contouring/bronzing. I love her eyeshadows already, so it's likely I will get this.

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade Bachelorette. Obviously I'm on a Kat Von D kick. I used to love her show and I'm a huge fan of her makeup. Her older eyeshadow palettes are amazing, and I'm a new fan of her Tattoo Liner in Trooper. I've never tried her liquid lipsticks before, but I always here great things.

Benefit Cosmetics Puff Off!. I just find this product so interesting and I'm curious to try it. I was never really a fan of Benefit skincare, but this is intriguing.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Style Eye-Con No.7 - Plush Shadow in The Dreamer. I've never owned anything from Marc Jacobs beauty, and I always here pretty nice things about his eyeshadow palettes. They all look beautiful, but this one called The Dreamer looks like it has colors I would love.

Well, those are just 5 products I have my eye on right now. It may change and I could get different items. I'm excited for this sale though since they only do it about twice a year! The sale is going on until April 21st, so there is a good amount of time to get what you like! Like I said above, VIBs and Beauty Insiders should get their chance to buy products in a little bit, I'm sorry I don't know the exact date!

Is there anything you're going to buy during this sale?

March 2015 Empties!

Hi everyone! Today I'm showing you my trash. I used up a pretty decent amount of products in March, so grab a snack or a drink, because this may be a long one!

I'll start with skincare since that's what I have the most of. The first product is the Korres White Tea Fluid Gel Cleanser. I used this in the mornings, and I really did like it. It cleaned my skin well and got rid of any oil I may have had from the night before.

This wouldn't be an empties without an Aloe Calming Toner from The Body Shop. I've talked about this a ton before, so I won't beat a dead horse. This is my favorite toner ever, and I use it primarily at night, unless it's Winter, then I use it morning and night.

I used up a sample of the Pangea Organics Facial Scrub, and I didn't really care for it. The scrubbing bits in it were a bit rough, and it didn't smell too pleasant.

I used up another sample of the bareMinerals Purifying Facial Cleanser, and I really, really like this! I used it in the morning and got a good weeks worth of use out of it. It cleans really well, but doesn't strip the skin. This is a great everyday, basic cleanser.

I used up a sample of the Philosophy Miracle Worker Miraculous Anti-Aging Moisturizer. This moisturizer is so interesting to me. It feels thick when I rub it between my hands, but once I apply it to my face, it spreads out evenly and feels incredibly silky. It's extremely hydrating, so I only used it at night, but I always woke up with really pretty skin.

I finally finished up 2 InstaNatural products, the first one being the Hyaluronic Acid Serum and the second one is the Age-Defying Skin Clearing Serum, which I reviewed here along with another product. The hyaluronic serum was amazing mixed into my morning moisturizer when I needed extra hydration and the skin clearing serum is probably one of the best serums for oily, acne prone skin I've ever tried. It seriously was amazing stuff, and I probably will repurchase when I use up other skin treatments.

Now for makeup. I'm throwing away the Coastal Scents mini eyeshadow quads that I received in previous Ipsy bags. I was going through my makeup, saw these, and just decided to get rid of them. I've never used them and a couple shadows broke, so I have no use just hanging onto them.

I'm also throwing away the Be a Bombshell Liquid Eyeliner in the shade Onyx. This also came in a previous Ipsy bag. I found this hard to use because the felt tip of this is so chunky and large, which made it hard getting a thin line. The color is so black though, which makes it tough to throw away. Oh well, like I said above, there is no use hanging onto this if I have no use for it!

The Freeman Purifying Paper Mask was not good. I'm not a fan of sheet masks, and this one was no exception. It didn't sit right on my face, so I kept getting it in my eyes and up my nose. I'll stick with my normal masks, thank you!

I absolutely loved the Korres Guava Body Butter! It smelled amazing and really hydrated my skin. I'm trying to get my skin in good shape after it being so dry in the Winter, so I need anything that's going to put moisture back into my skin. This did it, and I'm a little sad it's gone.

I didn't care much for the Bliss High Intensity Hand Cream. First off, it's not that intense. It didn't really help my hands in any way. Second, I went through it pretty fast because of that. I felt like I kept having to reapply to get it to do anything. At least it's not sitting around anymore waiting to be used up!

If I'm not mistaken, this Simply Be Well Lotion came from the hotel my husband and I stayed at during our honeymoon. I'm weird and always take those little sample toiletries with me. This was alright. It's a very lightweight lotion and I only used it on my arms. This would've done nothing for my poor, dry legs.

Last few things! I am so happy to finally be finished a Johnson's Baby Shampoo. I use this stuff to clean my brushes, and let me tell you, I had this bottle when my husband and I first moved in together in the Summer of 2012. I got a hug double pack of these before we moved, and I'm just starting to use the second one. Crazy how long this big bottle lasts!

I'm sure I've mentioned before, but I'm not the biggest fan of Bath & Body Works body products. Candles and handsoap, I love, but body products, not so much. I had this Country Chic scented shower gel for a while. I'm going to start using up all their body care stuff I have because I don't want to be wasteful.

The very last product is the Bath & Body Works Gentle Foaming Hand Soap in the Pumpkin Caramel Latte scent. Holy crap, does this stuff smell like heaven! I love anything that smells like pumpkin, but this smells like dessert and I wish I had a backup. There is always next Fall! Hopefully they bring it back.

Phew! If you lasted til now, thank you and I love you! I'm so happy to be using up so many products. I seem to be on a mission lately to de-clutter my life and I have so many beauty products to go through, so when I use something up, it feels like weight lifted off my shoulders. Such an awesome feeling!

What did you use up lately?

March 2015 Favorites!

Hey guys! It's time for me to show what products I've been loving in March. I was so sick yesterday when I wanted to get this post up, but it's only the 2nd, so no big deal really. Anyways, lets see what products I have to share.

The first product is the Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay, which I already did a review on here. If you already read the review, you know how much I love this stuff! It makes my skin look and feel so nice and it's probably my favorite mask I've ever used. Also, it's super inexpensive too!

Next up is the Hard Candy Glow all the Way Ombre Baked Blush in the shade Punch, which I did a review on here. That's a mouthful of a name, but it's an awesome blush! I love the shade on my fair skin, but in my review I did say it doesn't last through a full work day. I don't mind that personally, but for only $7, it's not a huge deal to me.

The Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain in the shade India Intrigue has been my go-to colorful lip shade. It hasn't really felt like Spring yet here, so I wanted to add a bit of color to my makeup, and this is great. It's a beautiful berry-ish pink shade and I love it. I have a few of these and did a review on another shade called Barcelona Nights in September of last year.

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper, where have you been all my life?! You guys, this makes eyeliner so stinkin' easy, and I'm still a newbie with eyeliner. I usually hate putting it on, mainly because I suck at it, but this eyeliner is amazing. I can do a wing without messing up, and that's saying something. I'm thinking of doing a review on this soon.

The last two products have been my go-to neutral lip when I wasn't using the Revlon stain. The first product is the NYX lipstick in the color Ceto. I'm pretty sure I got this in a previous Ipsy bag and initially wasn't impressed. However, when I top it off with the Starlooks lip gloss in the shade Guilty Pleasure, it makes a beautiful combination! I also think I got the gloss in an Ipsy bag and again, wasn't too impressed. It just goes to show you can't really judge something until you try it!
